About This App

Breathe is a personal wellness app for guided breathing practice, breath-hold logging, respiratory muscle training logging, presets, notes, and local history.

Summary

Breathe stores your breathing sessions, breath-hold records, respiratory muscle training sessions, notes, presets, and app settings on your device. Breathe does not use accounts, ads, analytics, tracking, or third-party data collection.

Data Stored On Your Device

Breathe saves app data in a local database inside the app's container. This can include session dates and durations, breathing pattern settings, breath-hold records and perceived effort, respiratory muscle training sets, reps, resistance values, perceived exertion, notes you enter, custom presets, and app settings.

This data is used only to provide app functionality on your device.

Data Collection

Breathe does not send your session history, notes, settings, or backup files to the developer or to a server. The app does not collect data for analytics, advertising, tracking, product personalization, or marketing.

Export and Restore

If you choose Export Database Backup, Breathe creates a backup file and opens the system share sheet. You decide where that file goes. Any backup you share, save, or transmit outside the app is handled by the destination you choose.

If you open a Breathe backup file, the app can restore all data or restore history only after confirmation.

Research Links

Breathe includes links to research and safety resources. Those links open only when you tap them. Opening a link may share information with your browser or the website you visit according to their own privacy practices.

Deletion

You can delete all app data from Settings. Deleting the app also removes data stored in the app's local container, unless you previously exported a backup elsewhere.

Health and Wellness

Breathe is for personal wellness practice and logging. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.
